Or, maybe I'm in a "reader's block" [you can have writer's block, why not reader's block?]. I'm not sure, but this one should have been a DNF for me. I just kept plowing through when I knew I really didn't like it and it didn't look like anything was going to make it better.I love the whole male escort theme. I've read some really good books with this theme and I didn't think I'd ever read one that I wouldn't like something about it ... until now. I never warmed up to the characters. The word "gigolo" was WAY overused. For me, it bordered on terrible. Not quite there, but almost. Not a good place.Enough said. It just wasn't for me. It might be for you. I will add one positive note. Mason's sister has Cerebral Palsy. I really liked this element. I enjoyed any place in the story where this element was present. I thought this pretty unique and think the author handles it very well.Happy Reading ... maybe!
