Books are like Air ...

Without books, life would be sooo... boring. Don't you think?

I'm a moody reader. I know what I like and love to share what I think about what I read.

It really is just that simple.

Before Now (Sometimes Never, #2) - Cheryl McIntyre 06/26/2013 --Overall Rating = 3 StarsBook Cover / Book Blurb = 4 / 4 = 4 StarsWriter’s Voice = 2.5 StarsCharacter Development = 3.5 StarsStory Appreciation = 3 StarsWorth the Chili = 4 Stars [$2.99 on Amazon]I'd been hearing quite a bit about this one and needed a beach read. I read this one first. It is the second in the series and I don't think I missed anything reading out of order. It was okay. Not great, but the characters were good and the story moved fairly quickly.Things to count on when reading this one:1 -- A damaged bad boy local rock star. He is a real man-whore and is pretty proud of this fact. He falls into immediate lust for Lucy who just happens to be his new neighbor, but is told to "back off" because she is a good girl.2 -- Lucy is the good girl. She is a bit different with the hippie vibe, but very likeable.3 -- The kitchen sink and with all this implies is found in this story. I won't say too much or I'd have to use the "spoiler" tag, but you get the drift.4 -- And we try to through all this in in the last 25% or so in the book.If you're having a discerning moment, then skip this one. Why? Because you've read it already a few times. It isn't unique, but it is fairly enjoyable because of the characters. Park is nice to watch evolve and Lucy is really pretty sweet. I'm not sure I'll pick up and read immediately any others by this author, but it was okay as a simple beach read.Happy Reading!!
