01/16/2013 - Just finished enjoying this one.Overall Rating = 3.5 StarsBook Cover / Book Blurb = 3 / 6 = 3 StarsWriter’s Voice = 3.5 StarsCharacter Development = 3.5 StarsStory Appreciation = 4 StarsWorth the Chili = 2.5 Stars [$7 Amazon & B&N]I'm terribly surprised, but I liked this book. I've been burned more times than I can count on books similar to this one. It is a bit overpriced at $7, but is from Ellora's Cave and this seems to be their standard price point.I really liked Marie. She was learning about all the biker culture and seemed to be able to find her niche. Horse was just crazy about her. None of the "over the top" aggressive behavior we see in some of these books and a pretty good story. I specifically liked the "brother" who was killed in Afghanistan and how the MC honored him; Bagger. Overall, a really nice, if a bit pricey, read.Happy Reading!
